UK Government approved provider of Covid-19 Test to Release. In clinic testing from two central London clinic locations and from home.

Same day test to release results available.

From the 15th December 2020 the UK government quarantine rules have changed to mean that if you are returning from a country that requires a 10 day quarantine you can do a private Covid test a full 5 days after your arrival and once the results are back (provided they are negative) you can exit your quarantine early.

If timed correctly this is likely to mean you can reduce a 10 day quarantine down to 5 or 6 days with a negative coronavirus RT-PCR test through us.

Please note we currently offer two options for Test to Release:

  1. In clinic RT-PCR Swab Test - Same or Next day result - 2 central London clinic locations

  2. At home RT-PCR Swab Test - Same or Next day result after sample reaches the lab (multiple delivery and return options available)

TURNAROUND TIMES:

  • RESULTS SAME DAY (BY 10PM) FOR TEST APPOINTMENTS BEFORE MIDDAY

  • RESULTS NEXT DAY (BY 2PM) FOR TEST APPOINTMENTS AFTER MIDDAY

  • RESULTS PROCESSED AND SENT OUT BY EMAIL 7 DAYS PER WEEK

Test to Release Scheme Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I use the government Test-to-Release if I have covid-19 symptoms?

If you have covid-19 symptoms, Test-to-Release is not suitable for you. Visit the NHS for the latest information about what to do if you are ill with covid-19.

How long will I have to self-isolate on return from a quarantine country?

If you do not have a negative covid-19 test result you will have to self-isolate for 10 days. When you are self-isolating you cannot leave your home for any reason. You will have to arrange deliveries for everything you need. Under the government’s Test-to-Release programme you can on the fifth day after leaving the quarantine country (that is, not on the government’s travel corridor list) take a covid-19 test. If you get a negative result then you no longer have to self-isolate.

Can I get my test done sooner if I attend one of your clinics?

You need to wait five days from leaving a quarantine country before taking your sample for Test-to-Release. In person Test-To-Release tests are available at One5 Health City (Moorgate) and One5 Health Marylebone (Baker Street), Monday to Saturday. Note that you must go straight from the airport or port of arrival to the place where you will self-isolate and you cannot leave there except under some specific circumstances.

Can I leave my house once I’ve taken a Test-to-Release test?

You can only end self-isolation once you’ve received a negative covid-19 test result. Until you receive your result, you need to self-isolate.

Can I use Test-to-Release in Scotland and Wales?

Test-to-Release only applies to England. Scotland and Wales, as devolved nations, will make their own arrangements.

Do I need to isolate after my trip abroad?

If you are returning to England from one of the government’s red list (travel ban) countries, you will need to do a mandatory 10 days quarantine in a UK goverment approved quarantine facility. If you are returning from any other country (amber list) the you will need to do a 10 day quarantine at home. To find out if you are travelling from a travel corridor country, please check the list on gov.uk. It changes frequently and without notice, so check it immediately before you travel.

Do you have to pay for Test-to-Release?

The government test-to-release scheme is private. You have to pay for a test from a private provider, such as One5 Health, for this purpose.
