Dr Saloni Kapoor is a caring and approachable GP with a special interest in women’s health, menopause care, lifestyle medicine, and the prevention of conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and high cholesterol. She works in both the NHS and private sector and is passionate about helping patients feel supported through life’s health challenges.
She studied Medicine at University College London (BSc, MBBS) and completed her clinical training at the Royal Free Hospital. She holds further qualifications including the DRCOG, DFSRH, the British Menopause Society Certificate in the Management of the Menopause, and the International Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine (Dip BSLM/IBLM). She has also trained in Coaching for Health, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). With a particular interest in sleep disturbance during the menopause transition, she combines medical and lifestyle approaches to help patients restore balance and energy.
Alongside her one-to-one work, Saloni has led innovative group consultations in the NHS, supporting patients with menopause, heart health, and cancer recovery. These sessions create a supportive environment where patients can share experiences, gain practical advice, and feel more confident in managing their health.
Her approach is holistic and person-centred. She aims to give patients the knowledge and confidence to improve their health — whether that’s navigating menopause, tackling sleep issues, or reducing their risk of long-term conditions. She believes in working alongside her patients, creating practical strategies that fit into real life and support lasting wellbeing.
