How the Perimenopause & Menopause Programme works

While every woman’s menopause journey is unique, the transition affects multiple areas of health — from sleep, energy, and mood to bone, heart, and metabolic wellbeing. Many symptoms begin long before your periods stop, which is why understanding your personal stage and getting the right support early can make a meaningful difference. If you are experiencing changes and aren’t sure what’s normal, this is the ideal opportunity to take positive steps.

how the menopause programme works

Book a 45 minutes consultation with a One5 Health menopause specialist doctor (£180) to discuss your symptoms, goals and expectations, ask any questions about HRT and testing or specialist support. This call helps you make an informed, confident first step.

Following your initial consultation, if you choose to enrol in the 3 or 12 month programme at this stage your initial payment will be used towards the programme fees.

Submit any recent hormone or health test results, or

Choose our optional Pre-Programme Package (+£500).

This includes: Blood tests (hormones, thyroid, vitamin D, glucose, cholesterol, liver/kidney function, inflammation markers) and an InBody body composition scan.

We also have the following optional Add-ons (additional charges apply):

  • Bone health scan (DEXA) referral
  • Mammogram
  • Transvaginal ultrasound scan

These insights give your GP a complete picture of your health.

Your doctor will:

  • Assess all test results and your medical history
  • Issue HRT prescription
  • Outline the framework for your personalised Menopause Optimisation Plan

This ensures your consultation is thorough, efficient and tailored.

You will now gain access to 1-1 support from our team of lifestyle experts — including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and relationships — and work together to co-create your personalised menopause plan across five pillars. This includes:

  1. Nutrition
  2. Physical activity
  3. Sleep optimisation
  4. Stress management
  5. Social connection & mindset

These consultations gives you clarity, direction and a plan that works for your life.

What is Perimenopause & Menopause?

Perimenopause is the stage when oestrogen and progesterone levels begin to change, often causing symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep disruption, mood shifts and changes to energy or cognition. Menopause occurs when periods have stopped for 12 months. These hormonal transitions are completely natural, but they can feel disruptive — and the right guidance can make them easier to navigate.
